About Adrienne Engel
Adrienne Engel is a devoted messenger for the Living Jesus Christ.
Her journey began as a Medical Massage Therapist over 25 years ago, specializing in the rehabilitation of complex medical traumas and supporting body systems in healing, and or improving function. Some of the common cases she has had success with include; post-surgical and post-traumatic rehab, cancer support, cancer reconstruction rehab, post-surgical rehab for core body surgeries such as open-heart, lung, colon, and pelvic surgeries, auto-immune system rehab, support and rehabilitation of the parasympathetic system, neurological rehab from Parkinson's, MS, stroke, and aneurysms. She also works with chronic pain, migraines, and fibromyalgia.
In addition to the medical focus, she also studied biomechanics (the science of functional movement) and worked with many professional golfers, supporting their healing and performance.
After the first eight years in practice, Adrienne discovered four major zones in the body that are the physical intersections our immune system relies on for optimal circulation and functioning. She developed the InBodyMeant Method, which taught participants to release chronically held restrictions in those zones and support the restoration of optimal circulatory flow.
Upon optimizing these zones, deep emotional and spiritual pathways awakened in the body/and mind. Adrienne then spent the next 13 years studying the gentle integration of the emotional, spiritual, physical, and behavioral systems. She discovered the sacred and transformative information held within these embodied areas of tension. The next part of her journey led her deeper into her learning of how to establish a relationship with these areas of held tension.
At this time, she also became a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, through Dr Peter Levine's training.
In 2015 Adrienne had a transformative awakening when the Living Jesus Christ revealed himself to her in a near-drowning event. Over the next five years, Jesus's presence in Adrienne's life became more and more prominent. He invited her to teach a daily prayer practice, where individuals learn to connect with his living presence and bring fourth the stress, pain, and trauma that they are carrying while experiencing his love and renewal. Here, Jesus showed her what to do with these internally held areas of tension. Finally, her life journey made sense. Jesus revealed an 8 step embodied prayer practice, and that is how the Always Held Practice was born.
Adrienne teaches the Always Held embodied prayer practice daily. She also works with individuals on-line and in person, as well as offers retreats.
She is a mother, a dog owner, and an advocate for the Living Jesus Christ as she supports people in understanding the role their bodies play in establishing a deep relationship with the Living Jesus Christ and the mystery of the Divine that we are all connected to.
